We appreciate you dropping by. But we hope you will not remain a visitor. We invite you to stay and become a “resident” and kapitbahay (neighbor) here at Philfortune. And we hope that by “living” here, the spirit of a Pinoy negosyante (Filipino entrepreneur) in you will soar to new heights and you will prosper. Enjoy the company of other residents and entrepreneurs and take advantage of the opportunities that the PhilFortune community has to offer.

So get connected now. Join Philfortune!
Philfortune (philfortune.com) is a binhi (seed) conceived, and now shared, by Terence Elumba, President of Elumba Technologies (www.elumba.com), a seasoned network and systems engineer with fifteen years of experience in network engineering, infrastructure and software design, implementation, and development of e-commerce software and social network systems.
Terence had previously worked with the US Department of Defense as Network, Security and System contractor. He and his team helped develop vistahealthcare.net (network infrastructure, systems and web application) which was acquired by Kindred Healthcare (www.kindredhealthcare.com) for $200M in December of 2010.
He also volunteered to develop a web portal for Volunteers in Medicine in Southern Nevada (VMSN.org), a not-for-profit organization established to help the underserved, uninsured, and, in general, to serve the health and wellness needs of Las Vegas Nevada's working families. His other projects include Philippine Properties Multiple Listing Service (www.ppmlservice.com) and many others (see http://elumba.com/portfolio.php). Terence is currently developing projects for various clients around the globe with his present team. But his heart is on developing PhilFortune, a virtual community for and of global Filipinos.
If Terence is Philfortune’s “dad,” Ed is the ninong (godfather). He is also a conceptual collaborator, fellow visionary and Philfortune evangelist. Part of his role is writing as well as editing content.
Although Ed’s training is in speech communication (he holds an advanced graduate degree from a prestigious institution at Princeton, NJ), he also loves the written word and writing. He maintains a blog he calls "Reflections…" at www.edfernandez.me.
Ed lives in Las Vegas where he leads a community called Saints in Sin City (www.saintsinsincity.org) and is passionate about finding solutions to problems like homelessness in his city of residence.
